Welcome to Yew Tree Community School, part of the MY Schools Federation, and to our website.

We are a large, busy and popular community school with over 600 children across 21 classes from Nursery to Year 6. Every child is supported by teachers and teaching assistant, alongside additional classroom and administrative staff who all play an important role in creating our positive school ethos.

Yew Tree Community School is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive school with a warm ethos that is recognised by all who visit us. Our staff, parents, governors and wider community work together to provide the very best opportunities for the children and families we serve.

We want every child to enjoy their time at Yew Tree and to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment where children can grow in confidence, develop their talents and become 'Creative Thinkers and Lifelong Learners'.
