Dear Parents,
I am sorry I haven’t been able to tell you until today what will happen on the first day of teachers’ industrial action – Wednesday 1st February.
I am writing to you today so that parents of children in the classes below can make arrangements for childcare.
The classes that will be closed due to strike action are:-
3 Blue
1 Red
1 Green
1 Blue
All other classes are open as usual and children are expected to be in school.
If children in the classes above have a social worker or an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) they can come to school.
If your child is entitled to a free school meal you can collect a packed lunch from the school office on the strike day but you need to let us know if you want one so we can order from the kitchen (by Tuesday lunchtime at the latest). This is a bit complicated because it’s not the free meal all the infants get – it’s for those families who have claimed free school meals.
